Accessibility Statement

CardScan is committed to making its web application accessible. This page describes our commitment to accessibility in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

Conformance Level

WCAG 2.1 Level AA (partial)

CardScan strives to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. We have tested key features and made improvements to support accessible web usage, though some areas may not yet meet full Level AA conformance.

Known Non-conformances

While we are committed to accessibility, the following areas have not been fully tested or may not meet Level AA standards:

  • Keyboard navigation has not been fully testedSome form inputs and modal interactions may require mouse navigation.
  • Screen reader support is partialWhile we have implemented ARIA labels on critical interface elements, comprehensive screen reader testing is ongoing.
  • Color contrastSome secondary UI elements may not meet WCAG AAA contrast standards.

Continuous Improvement

CardScan is committed to improving accessibility over time. We regularly audit our interface, implement user feedback, and work to enhance keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and color contrast. This statement will be updated as improvements are made.
